Gary “Bumpa” Williams
Gary puts the beat in the group! He is retired from a telephone company and has been drumming for more than 47 years. Other groups he has played with are the Eloi, Country Cousins, The Evertones, The Family, Broque 1, Broque 2, and the Remnants. He feels his most important group has been Sh-Boom (his and our good fortune)! He loves to sing "Unchained Melody" and really could do without bubble gum music. Gary wrote, sang, and recorded "Sweet Katie" with his brother and all proceeds went to the "Find Katie Poirier Fund". He also wrote 2 songs recorded by Sh-Boom - "At the Bayfront" and "Li'l Beater." The most unusual thing ever autographed was a beer can (empty I believe)! |
Sh-Boom thanks our friends
for their support and also looks forward |
