Kathy "Sue" Moland Keyboard, Saxophone, Vocals, Rhythm Guitar
Kathy is one of the founding mothers and now grandmothers of Sh-Boom (in 1989) and is a retired elementary music teacher. She has tickled the ivories for over 50 years and played saxophone for only 25! She loves to get her dress-up stuff on and has been accused of "having her own little party on her side of the stage". Kathy loves Elvis, the Beach Boys, Dion, and her husband Dean, who is our technical repair guy and part time roadie. Dean and Kathy were members of "Just Cruisin’" from 1982 to 1987, and then went on to form Sh-Boom. She has opened for The Crystals, Peter Noone, and Jan & Dean with Wolfman Jack. The strangest thing she ever autographed was a pair of shoes!
She recently met the girl whose shoes she signed! |
